Japanese Beetle (Popillia japonica), invasive and destructive to both wild and cultivated plants. Native to Japan. Red clover (Trifolium pratense), non-native but seen as non-invasive. Native to Europe, Western Asia, and northwest Africa. It is widely grown as a fodder crop, valued for its nitrogen fixation, which increases soil fertility. It's commonly planted as a garden ornamental, and the flowers and leaves are edible.
